The International Research Center for the Prevention of Child Soldiers in the city of Dakhla has condemned the violations and the systematic recruitment of child soldiers by polisario militia in the Tindouf camps in Algeria.
The research center has repeatedly condemned these violations and warned several times the international community about the devastating consequences of child soldiers and the recruitment process by polisario on the peace of the North African region.

In the framework of the 50th session of the Human Rights Council, a meeting and debate was held in Geneva, on 14 June 2022, on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of the Child in Conflict Zones, especially the Situation of Child Soldiers.
This meeting was jointly organized at the initiative of «Rencontre Africaine pour la Défense des Droits de l’Homme (RADDHO)», and «la Commission Indépendante du Réseau pour les droits de l’homme en Afrique du Nord (CIDHN)».
The meeting, which gathered around 40 participants including civil society organizations, journalists, experts, human rights activists, reserachers, and diplomats, analyzed in detail the weakeness of the promotion and protection of the rights of the child in conflict zones.
The particpants also drew particular attention to the negative consequences of madrasas (school) in the indoctrination of children in violation of their right to education in Afghanistan, in Pakistan, and as well as in the Tindouf camps in Algeria.
Links between polisario front and terrorist organisations and groups :
The links between polisario front and terrorist groups in the world, especially in the Sahel region, is known by the majority of the international community, but only few condemn or even warn against this dangerous phenomenon.
Also, there is a dangerous collusion between the polisario and Hezbollah, one of Iran proxy’s, which has been unveiled by the Israeli Channel i24NEWS.
The exclusive report revealed recently how the polisario Front, which operates from Tindouf in Algeria, organized a large-scale money laundering network based in Spain, used for the financing of terrorist actions, and how the polisario is linked to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The program also pointed out that “if Europeans do not become aware of this problem today, it will already be too late tomorrow.”
A German warning
On July, the 08, 2023, the German media ARD, exposes the founding of a research made by the international think tank «Fight Extremism» about the links between polisario front and terrorist groups in the sahel region.
The ARD article has in general detailed the founding of the research made by this international think tank regarding the links between polisario and terrorist groups in the Sahel and also pointed out to the declarations of an expert in psychology who demonstrated how persons from a fragile and disadvantaged environment, such as the refugee camp in Tindouf in Algeria (as a case studied) are becoming radicalized and then becoming a pillar in recruitment in favor of extremist and terrorist groups in the Sahel region.
The German report, stated that according to this international organisation, Islamists have a strong presence in Africa and recruit in huge refugee camps, using conflicts for their propaganda, which have reached as far as Bavaria.
Dangerous human rights violations and serious abuses by polisario front within the Tindouf Camp :
In parallel with the 51st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) held in Geneva, a symposium was organized by some NGOs on the Violations of the right to life under the theme «the systematic nature of arbitrary executions committed by the polisario and the responsibility of the host country».
The conference concluded that since the installation of the Tindouf camps in the south-west of Algeria, the Algerian security services and the polisario front have committed massive violations of human rights with all the humanitarian atrocities that comes with.
The conference underlined that the polisario front remains an organization escaping all control, despite the serious crimes and violations it has committed since its creation.
It also pointed out that the polisario has made the Tindouf camps a platform to order kidnappings, lootings and arbitrary and terrorist attacks, causing thousands of victims, not only among the residents of the Tindouf camps, but also in Mauritania, Mali, South Korea, France, Spain and Morocco. Thus, the polisario has caused victims following armed land operations or by attacks against boats and ships near the coasts of neighboring countries.
In general, the declaration of the International Research Center for the Prevention of Child Soldiers comes to condemn, once again, the human rights atrocities made by polisario front, especially against children, and to warn the International Community against the dangerous consequences of the process of recruiting child soldiers by this militia.
