Royal Council Meeting highlights Morocco's preparations for 2030 World Cup

During the opening session of a Council of Ministers meeting, presided on 04 December over by HM King Mohammed VI, Fouzi Lekjaa, Deputy Minister to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget and President of the 2030 World Cup Committee, presented a comprehensive report on Morocco's progress in preparing to host this prestigious international sporting event.

According to a statement from the Royal Palace spokesperson, the meeting commenced with Fouzi Lekjaa briefing HM King Mohammed VI on the detailed status of the preparations. The presentation outlined significant advancements across various sectors essential for the successful hosting of the World Cup.


Mr. Lekjaa highlighted the infrastructure developments, including the construction and renovation of stadiums, improvement of transport networks, and enhancement of hospitality facilities.
