Haouz earthquake: Phone conversation between King Mohammed VI and President Biden

King Mohammed VI received, this Monday, a phone call from American President Joe Biden, following the tragic earthquake which affected several provinces in central Morocco.

During this phone conversation, the American President expressed his most sincere condolences, as well as those of the American people and government, to the King and the Moroccan people.


“President Biden praised the speed and efficiency of the management, in accordance with the high instructions of King Mohammed VI, of the consequences of this large-scale natural disaster” specifies the press release from the MAP agency.


In a gesture of solidarity, Joe Biden also affirmed the readiness of the United States of America to provide the necessary aid and support to Morocco, based on the needs identified by the Moroccan authorities, within the framework of the plan multifaceted action put in place by the Kingdom to deal with this tragedy.
